Degu

The Degu is a small rodent that is native to Chile.  They are an uncommon pet and many people have never seen a degu!  Degus are very social. In the wild they live in burrows with many other degus.  Degus are closely related to the chinchilla and guinea pig.

The common King snake is a non-venomous and is “harmless.” They live in the Sonoran, Mojave and Chihuahua deserts, Baja California and Mexico. The King snake derives its name from its habit of eating other snakes. It is most famous for eating rattlesnakes and copperheads and for being immune to viper venom.
